Monica Zahasky
President
Monica Zahasky has participated in the ride every year since 2002, the first year the group rode to Washington DC from Indianapolis. Cycling in this ride is Monica’s way of giving back to the families that have lost officers in the line of duty and honoring the sacrifice by her fellow police officers. She wants her participation to remind communities of the sacrifices made by law enforcement professionals, to show her respect for law enforcement officers, and to show love to the survivors left behind after a line of duty death. Monica lives in Bloomington with her family.
Holly Heath
Vice President
Holly was introduced to Cops Cycling through her dad, John Heath. He served with the Allen County Sheriffs Department for 21 years and has cycled with Cops Cycling since 2009. In 2015, Holly rode 3 days with her dad and was hooked. It was at the Wabash Valley
Correctional Facility, reading the ODMP for John H. Grimm, that a true passion and understanding for the officers killed in the line of duty and their survivors was planted. Holly and her two boys, Colton and Weston reside in Leo, Indiana on their family farm. Holly enjoys cycling and running, as well as, being active with her family and community as a small business owner.
Kevin Getz

Kevin Getz has been riding since 2007 and is currently a detective with the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. He is married to Deb Gets and they have three children: Elizabeth, Thomas, and Katie.

Bryant Orem
Board Member
Bryant Orem serves as a lieutenant at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy where his responsibilities include Emergency Vehicle Operations, Instructor Development, and testing among others. He retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 where he held a variety of positions since 2003, most recently serving as the Public Information and Education Officer and Operations Sergeant. He began honoring fallen officers after the line of duty death of a close high school friend in Garland, TX and remains committed to honoring all our fallen heroes as well as supporting their survivors. A specific goal is to see the torch passed on to the next generation of officers to ensure the legacy of the fallen is not forgotten. Bryant has participated in the bike ride every year since 2010.

Stacey Miller
Board Member
Stacey Miller first rode with Cops Cycling for Survivors in 2009. She was tricked into it, really. With no affiliation to law enforcement the ride was a novelty. But after one long day in the saddle, reading ODMPs, meeting survivors and befriending other riders she was hooked. As the token “American” on the ride she looks to bridge the gap between survivors, civilians and law enforcement. She rides every year with the support of her husband, Scott and daughters, Grace. Lucy and Vivian.
